Hera Resort complements the Suomu Cabins holiday cabin business with a resort destination of its own, built in the middle of nature.
The site is set on a beautiful pine-covered hill in Kemijärvi, in the shelter of Suomutunturi. The cabins sit above the shore of Lake Herajärvi, where forest, water and open sky are part of the stay.

The first aurora cabins
The resort begins with three aurora cabins. Their generous glazing opens onto the Lake Herajärvi landscape and the northern sky from inside the cabin.

Light wood and windows onto the lake
The cabin interiors are built around light natural wood. The glass gable faces Lake Herajärvi, so the lake view, framed by a few pines, opens up right from the dining table. Each cabin fits a living and dining area, beds and a small kitchenette.

Arctic Aurora Spa brings together an aurora sauna and an outdoor hot tub. The sauna's glass roof and windows open onto the pine tops and the northern sky, so you can watch the northern lights straight from the sauna benches. Between rounds of löyly, unwind in the hot tub under the starry sky.
